#4 Re: Help! » Purchased app appears as unppurcased » 2016-07-05 13:56:36

Hi Iza!

We don't have anything to do with the actual purchase of the app. You need to contact Apple if it doesn't appear in your purchased list anymore. You can contact Apple's iTunes Support (which handles the App Store support as well) here: https://support.apple.com/itunes

#5 Re: Help! » Apple TV 4 » 2016-06-21 17:44:01

Have you tried enabling/disabling AirPlay overscan in the Apple TV Settings Richard?

#6 Re: Bug Reports » Failed Loading page error » 2016-06-03 07:38:44

Hi!

Can you give us some specific sites that this happen to? Google search results work fine here.

#8 Re: Bug Reports » Can't log in to website » 2016-05-01 21:16:19

Added videobox.com to the list of sites to test for the next update. smile

#9 Re: Help! » No "AirPlay" icon » 2016-02-22 10:46:51

Which screen are you not seeing Skalsi?

#10 Re: Bug Reports » Control from I-pad » 2016-01-05 12:55:05

What control panel image are you referring to?

#11 Re: Bug Reports » Not working at all » 2016-01-01 21:16:20

Hi Krusty,

AirWeb uses Apple's AirPlay technology, and only works with the Apple TV as described in the app description. You can contact iTunes Support if you'd like a refund.

#12 Re: Help! » Apple TV 4 » 2015-11-28 16:23:09

Is mirroring turned on on the iPhone?

#13 Re: Help! » Apple TV 4 » 2015-11-22 17:19:58

AirWeb should work fine with the new Apple TV. Are you having problems?

#14 Re: Help! » No "AirPlay" icon » 2015-11-10 11:09:27

Are you on the same network as the Apple TV? Does it have AirPlay turned on?

#15 Re: Bug Reports » iPad rotation bug » 2015-06-03 12:14:04

This was fixed in the last release. Locked the iPad to portrait mode until you had enabled mirroring to get around the bug in Apple's framework.

#16 Re: Bug Reports » Autorefresh » 2015-05-13 07:41:04

I actually have never tested the app with Google Spreadsheet, but I will do so now. What is not getting updated?

#17 Re: Help! » How to operate air web » 2015-04-01 19:02:55

Try quitting the app by double-tapping the home button, "throwing" the AirWeb window up and out of the screen, then starting the app again.

#18 Re: Bug Reports » Not working as before » 2015-02-12 22:53:39

When you drag up the Control Panel from the bottom of the screen, and select AirPlay -> Your Apple TV, is mirroring checked in the box that appears under your Apple TV after you've selected it?

#19 Re: Bug Reports » Not working as before » 2015-02-11 20:07:07

The AirPlay mirroring functionality is built into the operating system on your phone. That's not a part of AirWeb. So when you turn that on (drag up Control Panel from the bottom of the screen, click AirPlay, select your Apple TV, then switch on the Mirroring switch) the phone will mirror everything on your phone's screen to your TV.

What AirWeb does is that instead of mirroring what's on the screen it puts the actual webpage on the TV (fullscreen), and gives you a trackpad surface (think like on a laptop) to control a mouse cursor on the TV to surf and click on links. This allows you to be looking at your TV while browsing instead of having to keep looking down at the phone to click links etc.

An update to AirWeb can't affect AirPlay, but my guess is that this turned off at some point. If the mirroring is off but AirPlay is still on you will see videos play on the Apple TV, but not actually see a mirrored view of your phone. I would suggest turning AirPlay off on the phone (drag up from the bottom of the screen, tap AirPlay, select iPhone as output device), then turning it back on by selecting the AppleTV and enabling mirroring.

Let me know how it goes! smile

#20 Re: Bug Reports » Not working as before » 2015-02-11 19:24:55

Just to be clear here, you're talking about seeing your other apps on the TV? Not AirWeb, but apps like YouTube, Safari, Photos, Facebook etc?

#21 Re: Bug Reports » Not working as before » 2015-02-11 17:26:13

Hi Paddy!

Sounds like you've turned off mirroring. Drag up the control center, select your Apple TV and click on the mirroring switch. This is not a part of the app though, and the mirroring you see outside of the app is a part of the built-functionality in iOS.

#22 Re: Bug Reports » Can't login to website » 2015-02-07 18:43:46

I'll see if I can figure it out without a password, if not I'll let you know. smile

#23 Re: Bug Reports » Can't login to website » 2015-02-07 11:18:49

Hi Marco,

Is this https://www.bestsecret.com?

If so I'll do a test over the weekend and see if I can figure out what's wrong.

#24 Re: Bug Reports » Airweb with bbc iplayer not functioning after iOS 8.1.2 update » 2015-01-29 12:51:00

I think they might have changes something in iOS. I'll take a look at this and see if I can figure it out.

There's an update that's been in processing at Apple for a few weeks now (!!) that fixes a few iOS 8 bugs, but this isn't one of them.

#25 Re: Help! » How to operate air web » 2015-01-04 21:15:46

Are you following the instructions in the app? What do you see on the TV when you turn on mirroring?

#26 Re: Help! » My BT » 2014-12-29 09:09:28

What exactly happens after you fill in your username and password? Do you have a direct link to the form that I could try?

#27 Re: Bug Reports » Broken address bar in landscape mode (iPad 4G) » 2014-12-28 00:12:05

I'll take a look at this this weekend to see if I can reproduce it here.

#28 Re: Bug Reports » iPad rotation bug » 2014-12-28 00:11:49

I think something in iOS must have reintroduced this bug. I'll take a look at it this coming week.

#29 Re: Help! » Mirroring option not appearing in iPad Mini » 2014-12-25 12:59:01

Normally these issues are resolved by making sure both devices are updated to the latest version of iOS, and rebooting the devices. If you still don't see anything either one of the devices is not working as it should, or there are issues with the network. I would recommend contacting Apple Support in that case.

#30 Re: Bug Reports » Broken address bar in landscape mode (iPad 4G) » 2014-12-23 09:19:51

A screenshot would be great. Is this consistent on your device? If you quit the app and try again, does it still happen?

Can you send a screenshot to support@airwebapp.com?

#31 Re: Bug Reports » No webadress » 2014-12-12 11:44:38

You wouldn't happen to have turned on kiosk mode in the settings, would you? Go to the Settings app, scroll down to AirWeb and make sure you haven't turned on "Hide address bar".

#32 Re: Bug Reports » Mirror option not popping up when Apple TV selected for AirPlay » 2014-12-07 18:10:16

No. Did you try toggling the overscan option in the Apple TV settings?

#35 Re: Bug Reports » Mirror option not popping up when Apple TV selected for AirPlay » 2014-12-07 15:09:07

Hi Yann!

Does your iOS device and the Apple TV support mirroring? Are they both updated to the latest versions of the OS? Which device and which Apple TV are you using?

#36 Re: Help! » Getting started » 2014-12-07 11:43:39

What happens when you follow the instructions?

#37 Re: Feature Requests » Google Chromecast suppprt?! » 2014-12-07 08:47:53

Unfortunately Chromecast does not support a second screen like what we do, it only supports video and audio.

#38 Re: Bug Reports » The app doesn't work on my iPhone 4S or IPad Mini » 2014-11-10 09:39:44

What happens when you follow the instructions? Where does it stop?

#39 Re: Feature Requests » iOS8 and iPhone6/6+ support » 2014-11-09 06:11:06

The 6/6+ utdate will be out this month, and the bigger iOS 8 update will hopefully be out before Christmas.

#41 Re: Help! » How do I get out of Single Screen mode? » 2014-10-28 07:27:31

The help screen comes up if mirroring isn't turned on. The mirror switch is not related to AirWeb though, so if that's missing something is broken somewhere.

Have you tried restarting your Apple TV? Has the Apple TV been updated to the latest iOS version?

#42 Re: Bug Reports » Misc issues when viewing various websites » 2014-10-14 20:19:16

Thank you for the feedback!

Hopefully many of these issues will be worked out with the new webview class that I'm working on implementing for the iOS 8 update. Added your issues to the testing list here.

#43 Re: Bug Reports » Website Content Different » 2014-09-12 06:48:02

Hi Merrick! smile

Sounds like there's a bug somewhere. I'll have to take a look at this myself to see where the problem is, but I wouldn't be too surprised if this isn't fixed with the upcoming iOS 8 AirWeb update as we're moving to Apple's new web rendering engine.

#44 Re: Feature Requests » Possible new feature » 2014-09-08 06:21:46

Unfortunately there's no way to make something that's accessible from other apps. I have separated the "mouse framework" into it's own thing though, and I've dabbled in a few ideas for other apps that I can make that use it, but right now I'm waiting to see what Apple will do with the next Apple TV first.

#45 Re: Help! » Importing bookmarks/favorites » 2014-09-01 06:28:18

Currently no. I've been looking at some ways of doing this, and I might be able to via some clever javascripting, but there is no built-in way to access the Safari bookmarks on iOS.

Not planned for the upcoming AirWeb iOS 8 update, but is something that is on the list for a future update.

#46 Re: Feature Requests » Needs this feature bad! » 2014-08-10 19:05:48

Unfortunately flash support isn't something that'll get added. To get flash support we need to add separate servers that fetches the flash, and then stream the output and input from these to the app. It's not only resource intensive (for us to set up servers to do this, not to mention to actually find a way to stream the input/output from the flash back and forth), but also not very safe (for the user) from a security perspective.

In addition to that the few sites that still only offer flash videos will probably go over to HTML5 video soon. There aren't really that many left.

#48 Re: Help! » The Airplay icon isn't appearing on any of my devices » 2014-07-24 04:59:14

Hi Natalie!

Are both devices on the same network? Is AirPlay turned on on the Apple TV?

#49 Re: Feature Requests » Server Sent Events (SSE) » 2014-07-20 18:59:42

Thanks for the positive comments Dasutin! smile

Is this working in Safari on the device?

I'm planning a big update for iOS 8 in September, and I'll be moving from the current webview class to a new one that Apple is providing to developers in iOS 8. This new class is the same that they're using in Safari, which means that we'll get a bunch of new features and much much faster rendering and javascript.

#50 Re: Help! » Need to access server that has invalid certificate. » 2014-07-08 11:18:28

This should be fixed once we move to the new webview class in iOS 8. Planning on having an update out the same day iOS 8 comes out (probably September).
